In ByePest Ecolaboratories S.L we love animals, and therefore we have created this ecological repellent which is harmless for birds and humans. It was thought to avoid hunting with rapacious birds, cage traps, chemical castration, poisonings, mutilations with spikes, etc…. ByePest Ecolaboratories S.L encourages the deterring of birds from conflictive areas by using ByeBirds.

How does it work?
ByeBirds is a paste-type material which temporarily sticks to bird’s feather disturbing its flight. It deters birds through smell, touch and taste. Birds quickly perceive it through smell and sight.

The 400g cartridge provides better handling of ByeBirds. It is leak-proof and simple to use with the ultra-light applicator. Its wider nozzle makes it easier to fill out the trays with ByeBirds in the shape of balls or to make linear applications. It also has a lid to cover the cartridge for later use. ByeBirds is also available in a standard 280g cartridge and can be used with any applicator.
ByeBirds Trays
Made to withstand all temperatures and to be flexible for all types of structures. It comes with UV protection. Their inner circle is filled with the proper amount of ByeBirds when using the ultralight applicator. It has 4 holes in the center to be easily fixed with silicone and 3 holes on the outside to drain the water.
Ultralight Applicator
Larger than a conventional applicator it is meant to be used with the 400g cartridge. Because it is made of fiber, its light weight makes it more manageable and effective for any type of installation. Just insert the cartridge and pull the trigger to start its operation.

HOW TO USE
Pre-filled Trays
- Surface must be cleaned and dried before the application. Do not apply the product in rainy days to avoid problems of adhesion of the silicone.
- Gently separate the trays.
- Use silicone to fix the trays to the surface.
- Place the trays linearly leaving the recommended distance in between trays as in DISTANCE SELECTION.
- Add a second line for severe cases or if the surface is too wide.

Distance Selection
Spacing recommendation distance for applying the space of the BYEBIRDS trays or plates depends on the population of the birds, the nesting and roosting sites, therefore the areas will be of:
In the areas where the nests were located before cleaning, place plenty of product (20-30g) and at a distance of between 5 and 10 cm.
Nesting and nighttime roosting sites, place 20-25g of ByeBirds at a distance of 15cm.
Daytime roosting sites, resting areas or areas where they search for a food source, place 20g of ByeBirds at a distance of 20cm.
Parts of the building where they occasionally land, such as new areas and rest areas, place 20g at a distance of 25-30cm

BYEBIRDS® is a new generation of repellents. Its working properties are not limited to the contact moment. It starts working even before the contact, through the smell and its intimidating look. After the contact the repellency effect will continue for a while since birds will get some small quantity on the legs, feathers, and peak that will make it uncomfortable for them to return to that place.
BYEBIRDS® lasts in good conditions around 2 years in exteriors and between 5 and 7 years in interiors. With time the exterior part of BYEBIRDS® gets harder but the interior keeps the same. Take into consideration that the duration of the product is independent of the efficiency of an installation to keep birds away.
It will mostly depend on the installation performance and efficiency. If done properly according to the distances and quantities we provide; it would normally take birds to quit the place where BYEBIRDS® has been applied within 2-6 weeks up to 6 months. This time will vary depending on the population, type of birds, site conditions and animal behaviour uncertainty.
If done properly, more than 95% of installations do not need any reapplication and no birds would be around. When some birds remain at some areas, it is due to a bad selection of distance and quantity of product on trays, or due to missing trays due to a bad silicon use or choice. However, reapplication would only be needed on those affected areas. Follow BYEBIRDS® working method.
You can wipe away the BYEBIRDS® with waste cloth or wash the stained area with detergent containing water and a brush, etc. It does not leave any marks over any type of surface and will disappear with time.
The active ingredients in BYEBIRDS® are food grade. BYEBIRDS® could be in areas where accidental contact with food may happen. If BYEBIRDS® is accidentally put in the mouth, wash the person´s mouth out well with water. Although BYEBIRDS® contains no toxic substances, if you swallow it, please visit a physician. Wash hands with water and soup after use.
BYEBIRDS® is not washed away even if it is applied to a vertical surface. In addition, BYEBIRDS® is also waterproof. Do not install on rainy days and over wet surfaces to be sure silicone works well.
BYEBIRDS® will not be affected by extreme heat in any circumstances, it can stand over a 120°C. Regarding BYEBIRDS® resistance against cold, BYEBIRDS® can hold up in perfect conditions up to -40°C. Be sure that you use a good silicone that holds well heat and cold to avoid the trays to be detached.
Some dust can be attached on the product, but it will not damage its efficacy because its working system is not adhesive.
Keep container closed when not in use. Store in original container, away from food. Keep in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place, at room temperature and out of reach of children and pets.
Occasionally, the container may leak a few drops of oil if it has been stored for long periods or has been in hot places. However, this does not alter its characteristics, does not affect its effectiveness and does not pose any risk to the user.
Following REGULATION (EU) No 528/2012, BYEBIRDS® is registered as a biocide and homologable throughout the European Union under numbers EU-0015316-0001 (silver) and EU-0015316-0002 (ivory). Outside the EU, it is exempt from registration as a biocide or pesticide in most countries due to the safety of its active and inert ingredients. In Mexico, COFEPRIS has authorized its import and distribution without the need for registration as a pesticide.
