The Széchenyi Thermal Bath in Budapest is the largest medicinal bath in Europe. Built in 1913 in neo-baroque style according to the design of Győző Czigler, the bath is located in the City Park.
Despite having spikes and nets, many pigeons lived and roosted in the building, where they could find several nesting areas. The same was true for the park and the area near the zoo, where they also had access to food. The pigeons usually gathered around the main façade, which has been severely damaged by their droppings. During the installation, many kilos of them were found and removed from the window sills. The cleaning process was then completed by brushing these areas before installing ByeBirds. As shown in the following photographs, ByeBirds Ivory White was placed on the main façade of the bathrooms, being barely noticeable to the human eye due to the discretion of ByeBirds. The work was carried out by climbers, who were lowered down the building and used ladders at the same time to carry out the work. Once the work was finished, a pair of pigeons, a male and a female, approached a window without being able to perch due to the presence of ByeBirds.
