Essendo situata in riva al mare, si poneva il problema dell&#8217;atterraggio dei gabbiani sul tetto e della loro nidificazione. Avevano gi\u00e0 provato altri sistemi, l&#8217;ultimo dei quali era costituito da dispositivi a ultrasuoni che sono durati solo 1 mese, ma poi i gabbiani sono rimasti vicino agli altoparlanti senza essere disturbati. Avevano una popolazione di circa 40 gabbiani e 9 nidi. Gli escrementi danneggiavano il monastero anno dopo anno ed era urgente trovare una soluzione. Recentemente una parte del tetto \u00e8 stata parzialmente sostituita, come si pu\u00f2 vedere in una delle foto.     <\/p>\n\n<p>Le vaschette sono state poste a una distanza di 30 cm con circa 40 g di ByeBirds. La quantit\u00e0 maggiore di ByeBirds era dovuta alle dimensioni dei gabbiani e alla loro elevata popolazione.<br\/>Dopo l&#8217;installazione, per alcuni giorni, alcuni gabbiani sono rimasti in alcune aree dell&#8217;edificio, mentre la maggior parte si \u00e8 allontanata. Poich\u00e9 l&#8217;intervento \u00e8 stato effettuato in primavera, durante la stagione riproduttiva, i gabbiani hanno fatto nuovi nidi altrove e non sono tornati.  <\/p>\n\n<figure
