Walton Bridge \u00e9 uma ponte rodovi\u00e1ria sobre o rio Tamisa, em Inglaterra, que atravessa a estrada A244 entre Walton-on-Thames e Shepperton, e atravessa o Tamisa na sec\u00e7\u00e3o entre Sunbury Lock e Shepperton Lock.A ponte \u00e9 a primeira ponte rodovi\u00e1ria sobre o Tamisa a atravessar ambas as margens a montante da Grande Londres. A ponte \u00e9 a sexta no local. Antes da primeira ponte, o local tinha um ferry que remontava, pelo menos, ao s\u00e9culo XVII.Mais de 500 pombos viviam e nidificavam nesta ponte, apesar de terem sido efectuados v\u00e1rios trabalhos de espigueiros e de nidifica\u00e7\u00e3o sem qualquer efeito, causando grandes danos e dejectos. <\/p>\n\n

Este trabalho espantoso foi levado a cabo por uma empresa brit\u00e2nica de controlo de pragas. Ao longo de uma semana, limparam a ponte, removeram os espig\u00f5es e instalaram 9500 tabuleiros com ByeBirds. Ap\u00f3s a instala\u00e7\u00e3o, apenas um par de pombos se dirigia \u00e0 ponte durante a noite para um antigo ninho, pelo que foi necess\u00e1rio instalar uma segunda linha de tabuleiros nesse canto. Desde que esta segunda linha foi instalada, n\u00e3o foram vistos mais pombos na ponte.Al\u00e9m disso, alguns patos e cisnes estavam a nidificar no solo logo abaixo da ponte, o que tamb\u00e9m causou danos e sujidade na \u00e1rea. Uma vez conclu\u00edda a aplica\u00e7\u00e3o de ByeBirds na ponte, dirigida aos pombos, estes tamb\u00e9m se sentiram incomodados e deixaram de nidificar ali, deslocando-se para a floresta e evitando passar por baixo da ponte. <\/p>\n\n
